Interviewee: Caitlin Yoo

Caitlin Yoo is a COSMOS Head RA for Whispering Wood floor 3. It is her 3rd year being a COSMOS RA.

What is your year at UCI?

I’m gonna be a fourth year, and I study sociology, and my minors are in psychological science and digital information systems.

Is this your second year at COSMOS?

No, this is my third year actually!

What’s your favorite part of COSMOS?

Well, my favorite part is definitely planning activities, and especially watching the residents enjoy the activities that I feel like I took such a big responsibility for, it’s fun to see it play out in real time.

What was your favorite activity this year?

I’m going to have to say Operation Cyper-break, since I ran that completely myself, which I thought was a big responsibility but really cool. It was fun to see people solve the problems I created.

Do you have a favorite dining hall or restaurant on campus?

I think my favorite is the Einstein Bros Bagels in Phoenix Food Court.

Do you have any hobbies?

I like reading, I haven’t really had time for it recently but I like reading. Playing the guitar, especially when it was like playing with everyone else and it was really fun. And I love watching TV–I know that’s really sad–but I really love TV shows, and that’s what my friends and I talk about a lot, so I think it’s a good hobby.

Did you have a favorite subject in high school?

I really liked biology, and English.

If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go?

I would go to Korea, because I have never gone, and that’s where my family comes from, so it would be cool to finally see it with my family.
